Laurette T. Koellner - Retired president, Boeing International, director since 2003
Laurette Koellner’s is a retired Boeing Company executive and former member of The Boeing Company's Office of the Chairman. She was elected to the board of directors of Sara Lee Corporation in 2003. She serves as chair of the Audit Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee, Corporate Governance, Nominating and Policy Committees.
In her most recent Boeing position she served as President of Boeing International, overseeing the company's international affairs, with leadership responsibility for 20 Boeing in-country organizations throughout the world.
During a multi-disciplined career, primarily in Finance, Koellner also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Administration Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer. She also served as president of the Shared Services business unit. Prior to that Koellner served in Finance as the Boeing Controller, and earlier as Vice President of Internal Audit - first for McDonnell Douglas (pre-merger), and then for Boeing (upon completion of the merger).
Koellner began her career in the aerospace industry negotiating contracts with a specialty in defense and space products. She served as Business Manager for the Tomahawk Cruise Missile Program.
In addition to Sara Lee, Koellner is an independent Director of American International Group (NYSE AIG), and Celestica (NYSE CLS).
Koellner earned her bachelor's degree in business management from UCF and her MBA from Stetson University. She holds a Certified Professional Contracts Manager designation (in the field of defense acquisition regulations) from the National Contracts Management Association (highest exam score in the nation, recertified in 2008). In 2003, Koellner was inducted into the UCF College of Business Hall of Fame; in 2005, she was presented with the university’s Distinguished Alumnus Award.
