Kanika – Senior Brand Manager As a Senior Brand Manager, I’m responsible for developing the vision and deploying the strategies that create innovative new products and packaging that delight consumers and help grow our business. In my role, I develop innovation strategies that help achieve business growth objectives and expand the portfolio to help keep the brand relevant and further meet the needs of customers and consumers. I lead cross-functional teams working to commercialize new items, advance new product development in preparation for launch, complete marketing plan development for new product initiatives and lead strategic and financial viability assessments of new initiatives, both pre-launch and assessing post-launch performance of new items in-market. Finding new, unique ways to delight our consumers is what’s most rewarding about my job. My role is incredibly dynamic and has a great deal of variety—there is no such thing as a ‘typical’ day at work! It’s the variety that keeps my job exciting – I truly look forward to coming to work every day and facing new challenges.
I have been incredibly fortunate to have had extremely talented managers and mentors here at Sara Lee.
